"CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT
The"check engine" light, or more formally known as the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL), is an indicator light on your car to let drivers know there is a serious problem with the vehicle. If this light comes on, head to All Work's Automotive immediately to diagnose the root cause of your engine's malfunction. The cause of the light could be anything from a broken sensor to a misfire in the catalytic converter, which may pose a fire-hazard if your vehicle's emissions system is faulty.
SERVICE LIGHT
Not to be confused with the check engine light, the service light is often a yellow warning light, which serves as a reminder for drivers to take in their vehicles for routine maintenance. While this light does not require immediate action, driving with this light on for extended periods of time can cause lasting damage to your engine. Most often this light indicates a need for an oil change or other fluid flush. Head to All Work's for service and maintenance on your vehicle today!
